Evening shoes and accessories

The finishing touches for wedding, gala or ceremony wear

A dress or suit is not enough: shoes, bags, jewellery and accessories set the final tone. A colour mismatch or wrong heel height can spoil otherwise great photos.

At our Cannes shop we coordinate every detail in the fitting room — wedding, gala or evening. After choosing your outfit, see choosing your dress or guest wear if needed.

Choosing your shoes

Choosing your shoes

Heels, pumps, sandals or mules: height affects dress or trouser length. Try them with your outfit so we can adjust hems if needed; a few centimetres change the fall of a long dress.

Men: oxfords, loafers or patent depending on tuxedo or suit. Patent belongs to the most formal codes; smooth black leather is often more versatile. Also think about the ground: carpet, paving stones, sand or lawn do not require the same stability.

Bags, jewellery and finishing touches

Bags, jewellery and finishing touches

Clutch, belt, jewellery, shawl or bolero: each piece should serve the silhouette, not overload it. For weddings, avoid jewellery that competes with the bride.

Coordinating the whole look

Coherent palette: jewellery metal (gold or silver), shoe shade, bag tone. Two dominant colours plus an accent are often enough. Accessories should create a reminder, not add a new idea to every detail.

Think about photography too: shiny materials catch flash, very pale pastels can look close to white, and too many mixed metals may read less clearly. The full outfit should remain legible up close and from a distance.
