Cocktail, long gown, ceremony or gala: Autour D'Un Soir has dressed evenings in Cannes since 1980. Short dresses, long dresses and sets are available for rental or purchase, with a fitting and workshop alterations.
Standard rental lasts 4 days: pick up two days before the event, return two days after, with a 30% deposit in store. Wedding dresses are sold only. To decide, read buy or rent.

Cocktail, long, gala or guest
The dress code sets the length. A cocktail evening often calls for a short dress or a set. A gala or black tie points to a long gown. For a wedding, the guest outfit guide spells out the colours to avoid.

Rent or buy
Rent if you will wear the outfit once: pressing included, a contained budget, a 4-day package. Buy if you go from wedding to gala, or if you want to keep an altered piece.
The choice is made in store. Our advisors compare the cost of repeat rentals and a purchase during the fitting. The detail is in the buy or rent evening wear guide.
Fitting and alterations
An appointment is strongly recommended: an advisor prepares the fitting room for the time, the venue and the evening's dress code. Bring the shoes you will wear so the length is right.
The workshop adjusts hem, bodice and straps before pick-up. For the finishing touches, see shoes and accessories.
Coming to the shop
The shop is at 27 boulevard Carnot, a short walk from Cannes station. By car from Nice: about 30 minutes. From Antibes: 20 minutes; from Monaco: 45 minutes.
By train, the Nice–Cannes TER drops you five minutes away on foot. Book your slot ahead, especially in May during the Festival.
